Change excerpt length when showing pages

  • I chose to use pages with the post widget on the home page. Is there a way to change the length of the “teaser copy” being shown? If I were using the posts setting with the post widget, I could just put longer text into the excerpt box on that post’s entry. There is no excerpt box for pages. Is there some way to place that in code?
