Changing my WP blog to my own server

  • Gday Guys and Girls,

    I am just loving WP so much!! Now I want to take what I have created on the WP server and use it on my own hosting account. I am ready to download WP!

    One thing I ask though is: How do I transfer the blog I have created already to the new server, including all pages and posts? I really don’t want to start over again.

  • If you love it that much… you should spend some time learning it ??

    1. Install the WP downloaded from here on your own domain.
    1a. If the domain is set to point to your wordpress.COM blog – UNDO it!
    2. Export your wp.com blog
    3. Import it to your newly installed blog.
