• How do I get my website to display full width when looked at on a mobile phone in portrait orientation?

I am guessing it’s a setting in the CSS of the child theme under @media screen somewhere but can’t figure it out.

    Please could you help?

It works fine in landscape orientation.

    Many thanks

Did you resolve this Crissy? I’m currently trying to get my site to display on mobiles and if the side bar is active it throws the pages out and overlaps. I’m guessing I need a child theme so am poking around and this might help ??

No, I haven’t yet resolved it yet but you might have just given me an idea… maybe I need to deactivate the sidebar when the site is viewed in portrait on a phone. At the moment it’s being displayed at the bottom.

No idea how to do this but I am going to find out. ??

yeah I did that and my site looked fine afterwards but I’d rather it was shown so is why I’m here. Also, the menu button wasn’t working either and disabling the sidebar fixed that too.
I saw a link yesterday with an edit to the child theme to remedy this. I’ll post it if I find it again…
