The theme home page does not display when choosing a static page

Try opening the link in an incognito window in chrome and see if the homepage is there, if so then clear your browser cache and re-login to the admin area.

I’m not sure why this sometimes happens but it sometimes happens to me when migrating sites. The homepage will be 404 and the rest of the site will work… clearing the browser cache and relogging in fix it for me.

Unfortunately this didnt work out ??
Now I dont know what to do, I’m building a business website so I need the front page to be static, and the theme doesnt show up its contents unless I make the front page showing the latest posts

Thanks for trying to help, but this video shows how to customize the homepage, my problem is that I’m already using a theme which has a perfect effects; images sliders, services section and portfolio and a lot of things which best serve the homepage and I want this theme to be applicable in my homepage, but all this disappear when I choose the front page to be static

Hi,nohafarid,how you solved the problem? I have met with the same issue. When I set frontpage to a static home page, it only show “home” without any content or widgets. I have to switch the frontpage to latest posts.
