• I wish to edit the php code for a page I created

I cannot edit any page within the WP admin page editor. Every time I try to do so, I get the dreaded error message:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 1073741824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 33554432 bytes) in /home/mywebsite/public_html/wp-includes/post.php on line 442

I have tried all ways and means to resolve this memory issue but it remains unresolved.

How do I directly edit the code for a specific page on my site, and what do I need to make it full width, without the sidebars?

Thank you in advance for any help on this matter!

    Hi!

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
