    Hi,
I purchased the HQ version and trying to create webp versions of my images.
When I trun the optimizer (After enabling the webp option, of course), the optimizer creates webp versions of all my images sizes correctly, but does not create a webp version for the main image.
i left the option of “No optimization of original images” UNTICKED. so it should optimize the original image.
    example:
    if i have:

    image.jpg
    image-100×50.jpg
    image-300×118.jpg
    image-600×240.jpg

    then i end up with:
    image.jpg
    image-100×50.jpg
    image-100×50.webp
    image-300×118.jpg
    image-300×118.webp
    image-600×240.jpg
    image-600×240.webp

so how to create a webp version of the main image?
    thanks a lot.

The author has no direct contact in the link you provided. I tried that link before.

Also, this this problem is not related to the purchased version only. it still applies to the free version too, for files under 100kb.

when i said “I purchased..etc”, this is just an introductory sentence.
    thanks.

Did you previously have the “No optimization of original images” option checked? If you did and then later unchecked this option you will need to re-upload the image in order for a WebP version to be created for the original image.

Simply re-optimizing the same image won’t create the WebP file if you previously had the “No optimization of original images” option enabled.
