My account sidebar is been overridden with principal sidebar

    Hello,

    Since (at least) the 1.4.4 Pinnacle free Theme version update, the specific sidebar in MyAccount page is been overridden by the Principal Sidebar, no matter with configuration you set in My Account page sidebar config. It is happening in the Order Detail page as well.
    I’ve tested deactivating all my plugins, etc.
    It is working as expected in version 1.3.7 of pinnacle free theme (a backup that I have).

    Has it something to do with this thread? Sidebars don’t show in pages
    It’s just the opposite behavior.

    By the way, my actual versions:

    Pinnacle Free Theme: 1.4.4
    Wordpress: 4.6
    Woocommerce: 2.5.5 (don’t want to update to 2.6 by now)

    Hey,
    This is because woocommerce changed how the my-account page functions and now the account page has a type of sidebar that is controlled by the account content. You would see this if you updated to the latest version of woocomerce (which is really important).

    How come you are not updating woocommerce?

    Ok. I will try your recommendation of Woocommerce 2.6 in a demo site.
    I’m not updating right away because I’m afraid some very important plugins that I use are not prepared for this major update yet (as mentioned by Woocommerce itself).

    I’ll come back with my findings.

    It’s been out long enough most every plugin should be updated. If they aren’t then you need to consider looking for a better plugin.
