• Hi guys,

first of all i am very happy using footnotes plugin. I searched the web for a long time to get a plugin which perfectly fits and footnotes definately does.

Apart from following little blemish: I am regularly using the read more-funtion to give my readers a quick overview about the article (introduction, summary etc) shown at the “front page”. So when I use a footnote in this short part of the text it also shows the reference section after this short part (after read more). It is hard to explain so please look it up at my current article: https://www.matthias-elbert.de

Is there any possibility to hide the reference section in case of a not fully displayed article?
I hope you can help me – thanks in advance
    Best,
    Matthias

Yes, I know exactly what you mean – I use the same method on my own site. I’ll look at adding something in a future release. It may need be as neat as only having footnotes for any that appear “before the fold”, as it depends on how easy that it to detect, so it may be a simple switch that suppresses the reference on short extracts.
