polylang pinnacle string translations not appearing

    Hi,

    I have both plugin and theme up to date, but the string translations do not work in every case.

    Essentially, the ones that keep being English, are (as far as I noticed):
    -site title+subtitle in header
    -button text in calltoaction area
    -title+subtitle in the home icon menu (the big one below callto)

    (respectively in Polylang String translations page these are under home_page_title, home_page_subtitle, home_action_text_btn and title&description for each of 4 icons)

    In the String translations section of Polylang I have all set separately for both languages but when I go to home these 3 sections are stick to English.

  • In your polylang settings for permalinks what have you set? Have you tested using language strings to define each?

    If the URL modifications is what you meant, I have set the following:
    -The language is set from content

    I experimented changing it to
    -The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks

    …and it worked like a dream. Thank you so much ??
