    Hello,

Since upgrading to the latest version we are now have an issue with manual orders.

    1. It used to be if we created a manual order and saved it as pending payment, then saved it as processing, then saved it as completed, it would reduce the stock of the items. That no longer happens.

    2. There is no more function for reducing line items stock

How do we reduce stock for phone orders?

    Thanks!

When manually creating orders, you need to manually reduce the stock. I believe it’s always been that way, as payment gateways have to handle the stock decreases.

You can decrease/increase stock in an order by clicking on the product: https://cld.wthms.co/JYSF/2D5xTCtu

    Caleb,

It has not always been that way.
You could manually reduce stock from within the order using either 2 methods I posted about above.

I did not realize we could select a product and perform actions against it though. I’ll try and automate it with jQuery or something then.

    Thanks for the heads up.

I haven’t seen automatic reduction of stock for manual orders; Maybe in a super old version of WooCommerce, but not in the last two major releases (2.4+) as far as I’m aware.
