Cart Page Showing as Blank in Most Browsers

  • Great plugin! But the cart page is showing as blank on everything I’ve tried except Chrome on a PC.

    (so safari on mobile, firefox etc). Any suggestions?

    (note: I saw a post about using a different short code in order to display the text “Shopping Cart is Empty” on cart page. I tried that and COULD see that on all browsers. So somehow the Add to Cart isn’t adding product on other browsers perhaps?)

    When I use short code to display “Shopping cart is empty” text it DOES display on cart page – would this mean that the Buy button isn’t working correctly on those browsers rather than the cart page?

    Hi, there seems to be a problem with your site. It just keeps refreshing, so I can’t really check your shopping cart.

    Have you also set up your PayPal IPN?

    Keeps refreshing? That’s not happening on my end… what are you viewing it on?

    No, haven’t set up Paypal IPN…. do you need paypal biz account for that? Does that integrate with the plugin somehow or that’s so we get instant notifications from paypal when an order is placed?

    It was refreshing for a bit and then it stopped.

    Yes you need to set up your PayPal IPN and yes you need a business account (This is free from PayPal).

    Yes, it does. PayPal needs to communicate with your site in order to display a figure in your shopping cart.

    Okay, I’ll get site owner to get paypal biz acct open asap, then try again. It seemed like everything was working okay in chrome on a pc – could see the cart with product in it etc.

    But will get IPN set up and see what happens-

    Business account and IPN set up. Still blank shopping cart on all browsers other than Chrome for pc. Should I find a different paypal plugin? Do you think we can solve thee issue?

    Do you have a cache plugin? If you do is the cache configured to not cache the cart pages? If you don’t have a cache plugin then you could have a conflict with another plugin.

    Try the following, disable all your other plugins except this one then carry out a test.
