Yoast SEO & Visual Composer

Does Yoast SEO work with the Visual Composer plugin? It does not pick up any text on the pages that is all in visual composer, but I am not sure if there is a way around that.
Any suggestions if these 2 plugins are compatible would be great. Thank you.
