    Hello,

We use several machine provider, among them is Microsoft. Then we have our own decision algorithm.

But keep in mind that it is still machine translation so with Weglot, you can edit translation to ensure quality

I’ve been doing some research about translation services. They all say that we need to include an attribution, for instance, Microsoft says:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/translator/attribution.aspx

I’m checking the plugin, and I don’t see anything related with this. Am I missing something?

We need to show this attribution to Microsoft or to whatever other translation service provider the plugin is using, otherwise this could lead to a lawsuit. And the last thing we want is to piss off these big guys.

    Hi,

They have been attributed properly in our terms & conditions. And their team is fully aware of our plugin.

    Best.

An application or website using automatic translations performed by Microsoft Translator must display an attribution which makes users aware that text has been automatically translated and helps direct user feedback appropriately.

It means the websites using your plugin must display an attribution

If, for technical, business, legal or user experience reasons the attribution requirements cannot be displayed in the manner described, please contact the Microsoft Translator team to investigate potential alternatives.

As I told you already, they are fully aware of our plugin and the attribution in our terms.

I’m closing the topic now as there is nothing else I can add on this topic.
