JS minify won't show my LayerSlider

    Hi,

    Before writing a low-star review, let me see if there is a solution for this issue.

    We are using Enfold theme with W3TC and MaxCDN activated and it all works fine.

    However, when we activate this plugin the LayerSlider is no longer displayed. If I disable JS on this plugin LayerSlider starts working again.

    Any idea of what this can be?

    Hi, thanks for reporting.

    This is probably a incompatibility between some of your plugin’s javascript, but my question would be, does it work with any other minification plugin and then doesn’t work with this one?

    Second, it’s probably fixed by either disabling minification (just merging) or by following my instructions on another support answer (below) to track wich file is causing problems and excluding it from the merging.

    Hi Raul,

    I tried again with another popular cache plugin and it works fine. It is probably some incompatibility with another plugin where the minified files are not being called properly… not really sure.

    What is your url?

    That’s strange, I have tested it on LayerSlider on Enfold and it works, but something might be different on your setup.

    Can you possibly upload a full backup of your wordpress installation somewhere like dropbox (I don’t need the users data, if that’s a concern to you) and send it to me via https://fastvelocity.com/contact-us/ ?

    And if that’s not possible, can you send me a list of all plugins you’re using (a screenshot of your plugins page is enough)?

    Here my plugin using the Enfold theme + LayerSlider on a dev site: https://dev.fastvelocity.com/

    These are the defaults, with Enfold demo content imported and the settings on my plugin as default, no checkboxes ticked on the settings page.

    You can try to update my plugin to v 1.1.5 and then “Purge intermediate minification cache” + “Purge processed CSS and JS files” to see if it fixes anything.

    If not, please refer to my previous post, so I can further investigate why it doesn’t work on your site.
