Categories IDs vanished

    Hi kblundy,

    what version of WP are you running?

    I have the same issue. It turns out that the ID column for categories is empty on multisite installation (version 4.8) and normally populated on single installation (also version 4.8).
    IDs for other displays (posts, pages, users) are populated in both installs.

    just tested on a multisite 4.8 installation and the categories IDs are visible in my installation.

    Can you deactivate other installed plugins and see if this is helping?

    I tried creating a new category to find that its ID is displayed correctly when shown at the top of the list.
    If I refresh the list the newcly created category does not show its ID.
    I am now thinking it could have something to do with the fact that I use the wordpress importer to initially create content on these multisites (as they are moving from another CMS called PivotX).
    I will investigate and report back.

    I found the culprit! When plug-in Multisite Language Switcher is active the ID display is empty.

    Perhaps you could also install it and see why this happens?

    Hi Harm10,

    I just released v1.5.2 that introduces a workaround for plugins like Multisite Language Switcher that override my ID column values.
