Saving settings reverts products page to use index.php

  • When I save the settings in WooCommerce, the products page reverts back to using the index.php page instead of the one assigned in Settings > Products > Display > Shop Page. The setting keeps the correct page as the display page but does not read it. Instead I have to change to a different page, then switch it back and save.

    Any idea what could cause that?

    Not sure what could be causing it, but doesn’t sounds like something from core WooCommerce.

    Try temporarily switching back to the WordPress Twenty Sixteen Theme, or Storefront, and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If that resolves the issue, then slowly re-enable features until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.
