Home Page Site Title and Tagline placement

Latte V2.0 (I downloaded it recently, so I’m not sure why it says an old version number.)
WordPress V4.5.3

On the home page, I want the Site Title and Tagline to show up lower on the page, because of the image I’m using in the background. You can see this at https://carolramseyatx.com. I tried using a transparent image in the Intro Section, but it didn’t display as transparent. I really want to use this theme, it has everything I need and I’ve spent a lot of time on it. I also don’t have a lot of images to work with. Is there a way to modify the placement of the title and tagline?
