• my web is https://soonchernning.soonjessie.com/

    I accidentally deleted the coding in the wp-config.php file.

    The deleted coding are;

    define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8’);

    define(‘DB_COLLATE’, ”);

    When I realised the problem, I tried to put back the coding but it had problams also.

    After that, I totally cannot go into the admin area, https://soonchernning.soonjessie.com/wp-admin and the errors are;

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/metrosol/public_html/soonchernning/wp-config.php:47) in /home/metrosol/public_html/soonchernning/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 329

    Please advise and help.

  • I recently messed up my htaccess file and my host was able to restore from the previous day’s backup.

    Maybe ask your host?

    Do you have a copy of wp-config.php on your own computer? If so, open it with a text editor to see if it has the correct info and then upload it to your website.

    Hi Iridiax,

    I have actually restored back the 2 lines of coding that have deleted but I still get the errors as;

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/metrosol/public_html/soonchernning/wp-config.php:47) in /home/metrosol/public_html/soonchernning/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 329

    Please help.

    Look for and delete any empty spaces or additional blank lines after the very last ?> in your wp-config.php file.

    If this does not work, try uploading the whole wp-config.php file from your computer to replace the one on the website.

    Hi herbshirt

    My host is backing up real time. Do you have other ways to solve this issue?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi iridiax,

    I have done follow ur instructions but the same error still occur.

    Is that any other way to solve it?

    Thanks.

    You still have bad extra spaces in one of your WordPress files, probably wp-config.php. Your text editor may be adding them. Here are some instructions on fixing it.
