    Hello,

Great Plug-In! Just trying to customize it to work 100% for what we need. (And if so will buy a full license!)

    3 questions;

    1. Is it at all possible for the emails that are sent out able to have their reply address changed and the sender changed? When you are trying to use it in a professional setting and the emails are coming from “Gravity Form 2 PDF” comes off as a little amateurish. Also if someone replies to the email I need to be able to receive the reply.

    2. If the above is able to be done is it at all possible to adjust the text that is sent within the body of the email?

    3. When using the dropbox function is there functionality to allow the naming of the pdf? to the same name as one of the fields would be ideal…

If the above is possible sign me up! otherwise I may have to persist with your competitors options ??

    1. I’ve successfully sorted 1 out myself by modifying code and using an aftermarket plugin to change wordpress email address and who its coming from.

    2. I can adjust the txt in the body of the email, again modifying the code in the plugin however have not had any success yet having multiple lines being in the body of the email when sent.

    3. I’m searching through the code at the moment to find the naming algorithm that is being used at the moment but so far have not been successful in this.

    Hi. Thanks.

1 & 2 We are updating the plugin to allow both the subject and the body of an email to be define. We are testing it now internally, will be released any day. We are adding a few mapping changes/improvements also, so look for that to be coming.

    3. We currently do not have a way to define the output name of the file, but we will take that as a feature request and add it. This plugin started for me personally as a way to do exactly that as i couldnt find a way. So currently I am doing this in hard code, but we should be able to allow you to define the “basename” of the file. I dont see that as being an issue.

Thanks for the response ?? Look forward to the update!

I’ll give you a little more information about the No.3 Feature Request.

I’m at a college of approx 1500 students and I am using gravity forms as to enrolment students from a high school (K-10) into college (11-12).

The dropbox feature sounds great, however then I have to be able to search within the pdfs to find the student id to find the appropriate outputted file. It would be great if the filename could be linked to a fieldname (eg. student id) and then when placed in the dropbox the files can easily be identified (needed when dealing with 1500 files)

Are the people who registering wordpress users?

if so you could already do this.

You could use folders to determine the delivery path to keep this nice and organized.

So you can deliver your completed forms like this:

    dropbox/%user_lastname%, %user_firstname%

and the plugin will create the folders for the output of the file. We will work on adding the “base file name” also so you can define the file name.

Any news about point 1 and 2?
I use wp-better email, it change the look but sender and content are still not editable.
    thx
    Luc
