• The update indicator for Plugins constantly shows with “1”, but there are no available updates.

Not sure how to correct this.

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

Which plugin do you have there? If possible, could you move all the plugins somewhere else and see if it’s still happening? Then move then back one by one to find out which plugin is specific is causing this.

And it could be a little tricky so you might wanna avoid doing this if it’s a live site for your business and you don’t want it to go down. ??

Do you perhaps have Advanced Custom Fields installed? They just fixed a but that could cause that if ACF is the only plugin that needs an update.

I’d rather not move plugins around so as to not disable functionality on the site. No plugins show as having updates, but the (1) indicator still shows.

And no, ACF is not installed. Not even sure what that is, to be honest.

    The dashboard shows the following:

You have the latest version of WordPress. Future security updates will be applied automatically.

    Plugins
Your plugins are all up to date.

    Themes
Your themes are all up to date.

I have also seen that if I have a plugin that is not from the WP.org repository (e.g., it’s from codecanyon) but the key that allows updates has expired.
