PayPal Advanced has been added, but not specifically Pro Hosted. Advanced is very similar, though, if you want to give it a shot.

Really, though, I’d recommend getting an SSL certificate for your site, which is recommended anyway these days and helps with SEO as well.

Then you can setup the REST credit card processing directly on your site and you won’t have to mess with iFrames which can be a hassle in some browsers for some users.

Thanks Angelleye, we are using a hosted solution to avoid the extra expense of becoming PCI complaint at this stage of our business.

    But thanks for the advice,

    Best wishes.

PayPal Advanced is the same thing as Pro Hosted. It’s an embedded iFrame.

Again, though, as long as you have an SSL on your site and you are not saving any sensitive card data in your database or log files then you’ll be compliant. That only becomes a big issue if you’re saving data in your system that needs to be protected on an ongoing basis.

With an SSL the data would be protected during checkout, and then you wouldn’t have any data to protect in your system after that so you’d be compliant.

As I mentioned, SSL’s are recommended now regardless of whether you’re processing cards directly on your site.
