• Hi,

Using WooCommerce for the last year. The store has taken hundreds of orders without any problems, until the other day, when an order that was placed did not appear in WordPress > WooCommerce > Orders. I know the order was placed because there is a record of it in our payment processor account and in the accounts of two plugins that we’ve been using from the start to manage orders (FraudLabs Pro to flag suspicious orders and ShipWorks Connector, which our fulfillment company uses to connect to ShipWorks, the order management system that it uses). There is also a record for the order in the WordPress database.

Given that orders have never gone missing in WooCommerce before or since, I’m willing to accept that this time is just a one-off glitch and is unlikely to happen again (although I’d be happy to hear from anyone who has an explanation for how this might have happened).

What I’d like to know, though, is how to make the missing order appear in the WooCommerce orders page.

    Thanks,

    David

    Update:

The order ‘spontaneously’ appeared in WooCommerce > Orders two days later. Both why it was missing and why it appeared remains a mystery.

I have no orders page now, and 30 min before page was and displaying “GO TO SHOP”. I don’t know what’s going on…. ??

I have had the same problem at businessanalysisexperts.com. I have had emails from 2 customers recently complaining that they could no longer access training courses they had ordered. I found records of the payments for their orders on my PayPal account and also found emails I had received confirming that their orders were placed but could not find the order in the database. The only recourse I had was to ask them to reorder the courses using a coupon I created so they would not have to pay double.

Is this still an active investigation or do I have to take this problem elsewhere?

    Thanks,
    Tom Hathaway

I have same problem with a customer shop. I know order has been placed as it shows up in 3rd-party merchant-portal (but missing order-number witch is attached to all the other orders), but order is not showing in woocommerce. Had a look in mysql-database as well, and it is not there either. Orders before and after seems all ok (so far)…
I have a (very) small hint as i can see the timestamp on the order in payment portal, and the only matching element i can find in DB is a line in wp_postmeta with meta_key _last_contacted connected to post_id that belongs to flamingo plugin (stores contactform7 submissions to db). I’ve deactivated flamingo to see if that fixes problem. The user ordering has been created in database as well, at the exact same minute, but woocommerce show orders for this users comes up empty. Any suggestions, ideas, or similar troubleshooting stats would be greatly appreciated.
