Including recent bbpress topics and custom post types

    This plugin saves me hours… I use it to feature my latest posts and the entire post archives in a limited sidebar area, which is really awesome and so user-friendly. — Now I’m looking for a way to include rapidly bbpress topics and cpt to it (only titles/date-time/category) ??
    I would love to show in a widget all recent activities, in fact. What would be the best/fastest way to do it?

    bbPress Topics case:
    Enter “post_type=topic”

    Custom Post Type case:
    Enter “post_type=CustomPostTypeName”

    in textbox “category slug or wp-query”

    I’ve been looking for that in the plugin source files before posting but I can’t figure out where to define post types. Should be looking at more closely, I am sure it works, but I just cannot find where should I add my cpt.

    It works on category and tag archives, but I couln’t make it to work on homepage, bbpress forum page, and other pages..no luck so far.

    Would be cool if you could give an advice on how to get forum topics to appear same as posts, on all pages, thanks. I just can’t get it.

    Works like a charm ! Thanks again ! I’ve been enjoying my time playing around customization options and now I’m thinking of implementing a tab-style filter, maybe, so to make possible to sort and switch view by cpt.
