    Hi,

First off, great plugin! I really makes easy for the user to register and makes it very easy for me to manage all of them.

I’m encountering an issue in which some users cannot upload their profile image because they are stuck on the upload screen.

A little background on what happened with the site. Last week, I was messing with some .htaccess files, and essentially broke a the site, and so I had to reinstall the site using a backup. The only problem is, many of the users lost their profile image due to the backup.

So some group of users encountered a broken img link for their profile photo like so:
    https://i.imgur.com/zwncQqP.png

Now, after doing some digging, I realized that the profile images are stored in the uploads folders, each with their own number designated to each profile. So basically, when I reinstalled the backup, I lost a group of folders that these images call to. Now I didn’t think its much of a problem, but and just had users reupload their photos. However, when I tried to reupload the same photo, I get stuck on the upload screen. Like so:

I’m not sure what’s going on, and I don’t believe its an issue with another plugin, because any NEW users can upload their photos with ease. When I upload and different photo from the original, I can upload a photo, but it only occurs when I’m trying to upload the same photo.

One workaround I did was to go to the actually file manager, insert the photo into the respective folder, and renamed it to the name ultimate member names it, but that’s not exactly user friends, and so I was wondering if you knew what was up.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

Sounds like something broke when reinstalling the backup. Have you tried renaming the images with a different name and uploading them?

    Thanks

I did, but that didn’t help.

However, I was able to find a backup of all the missing photos, and so the problem is not an issue for me anymore.

I appreciate the response, and keep up the awesome work. Love your app!
