Jetpack related posts

I think that the related posts plugin hooks into the_content filter, which is used to parse and render the content for your announcements. You may be able to check the current page ID, and remove the action from jetpack.

This thread looks to solve the issue, but requires some custom code to be added to the functions.php of your active theme:
