create different layouts for same post

  • I have a custom post type on my website and each post has its page as normal.

    What I’m after is to be able to have another page for each post with a modified layout (a very simplified version)

    The purpose of this is to have a page that can be embedded onto other websites with just some core information from the post.

    Does anybody know how I can create another theme template file for this.

    e.g mywebsite.com/post-type/postname would be the normal one
    and then mywebsite.com/post-type/postname/widget would be the widget
