Using RETS importer, want to auto link to Real Estate Agent

That doesn’t show me how to make it so that each real estate agent imported gets added as an agent / user in our system, nor how to automatically add the properties that we have imported onto them.

I have already updated so that the actual template works, we’re just trying to see how we can create users/associate the properties with them. I’m sorry if my question was not clear initially.

Ok, this is what needs to be done:

1. Make sure that you have created all agents manually.

2. After, you will need to go into your schedule and add an attribute by which you want to assign the property to: https://screencast.com/t/pbzn1PTVwFoc
Make sure that you have added the attribute in the agents tab, if you do not see it in this list.

3. Scroll down the list, to add the Property Agent attribute and match it with the Rets xml path rule:https://screencast.com/t/9kacx5U2

4. You can also assign [any] shortcode in the same field, this option is if you want to have a property assigned to a specific agent if the appropriate agent is not found. So, if the system will be looking for an agent and will not find it in the given list, you can have it automatically assigned to an “x” agent.

So (to be clear) there is no way to automatically create a user within wordpress by importing the real estate agent using the RETS?

That is correct, you need to input these agents in first and only then assign them via RETS.

If the RETS feed has agent contact info then you could import their info directly into each listing and bypass the Real Estate Agent addon. My RETS doesnt have contact info so im SOL and the Real Estate Agent addon doesnt do much for me at the moment. Im hoping it gets improved with some future updates.
