Can I start fresh and keep all my old posts?

  • I have wp-content backed up…

    but when i tried to upgrade it myself i corrupted everything and I have to start fresh..

    I moved all the old content/admin/includes folders and all those files so i can keep my posts and comments

    I kept them in a backup folder, now I have a fresh version of 2.5.1 instaleld

    how can i move over JUST comments and posts? I dont want any corrupted files

    I dont know much about mySQL..
