Embed the category in a post’s text?

  • Hi, I’d like to blog photos directly from the Flickr site, unfortunately it doesn’t send post tags or categories to WP via xml-rpc. I’ve managed to embed tags in the post content using Christine Davis’ Embedded Tag Thing plugin, which is great.

    I’d like to find a way to embed categories in the post also. I thought if I replaced “tag” in the Embedded Tag Thing with “cat” I might come close, but so far I’m not so lucky.

    Any suggestions?
