How to reduce css file size?

you could make use of caching and minification on your website by installing and configuring particular plugins for this purpose, e.g.:

• Autoptimize
• WP Super Cache

WP super cache works fine, But it could not reduce it to a considerable size.

Have you tried Autoptimize?

I tried autoptimize but still no use.

AO will first and foremost help you cut down on the number of CSS-files that are requested (if the theme has many of them).

The amount of bytes saved depends on whether or not the theme’s CSS is already minified; if it is, AO can’t minify further.

I analysed my theme and found that a single file with name icons occupying 1mb of space. Any suggestions to reduce it?
