Columns Shortcode – wrapping prematurely?

  • Hi,

    I’m still new to wordpress, so it’s possible I’m not doing this right, but I’m trying to add 3 images in a single row on to my homepage. The way that seems the best way to do it is to use the Shortcode for One Third Columns.

    When I do this, the 3rd item wraps to a second line.

    I tried using the One Fourth Shortcode instead, and the last item again wraps to a second line. (This solution can work for my needs, since I only have 3 items I’d like to present, but it strikes me as perhaps buggy??)

    The same thing happens if I use text or images for the content.

    Please advise if this is a bug, if this functionality is not meant to work on a homepage, or if I’m just doing it wrong.

    I have since found some examples that include position=”first” and position=”last”, which has been helpful, but what about the 2nd and 3rd positions?

    All the positions should be “first” except for the last one, which you should name
    “last”
