Shortcodes in Excerpt on Sidebar Widget

    I am encountering a problem for which your help will be appreciated :)!

    Currently I am showing the “Advanced Recent Posts” widget in the Side Bar filled by “Customed posts” (Custom Post Type). With it, I am using the “Give” plugin, which is a fundraise plugin. It allows me to display a progress bar, for example.

    This bar is displayed thanks to a Shortcode ([give_goal id=”41″ show_text=”false” show_bar=”true”]) that I included in my Excerpt. But, when I go on my website, after having configured the Widget, I am facing the shortcode instead of the progress bar…

    When I put this short code on a basic “Text” Widget, it works great.

    Is it normal that a Shortcode in the Excerpt of a post isn’t treated as well as in a new Text Widget?

    Up please,

    Here is an example of what’s happening. The “Ils ont besoin de vous” isn’t showing the progress bar in the “Advanced Recent Posts” widget while the “Test” is showing a grey progress bar in a simple “Text Widget”.

    Any help would be very appreciated :-).
