  • @juwonlo – By default, WC-Marketplace doesn’t provide this feature of searching product based on the vendor’s location. But we have worked on the same module for our client using WC-Marketplace through customization. So, you have to customize the plugin, to work according to the requirement.

thanks again for your reply. ?? you’ve mentioned customisation again… sign. Is there a code i can get from you to help me sort this out or do i need to find a developer for this. for the time being i found a verrry basic way of getting location search, which was by creating an attribute called ‘location’ and attaching it to each product so that customers can click that to search for product… BUT i want to know 2 things. first, if and how i can ensure my customers can search using multiple attributes and categories at the same time. e.g location and type of product. second how can i get this attribute search to the home page. cos it is only when my customers click shop that they see the filter by location.
btw i used the woo navigation widget for it.

thanks again for taking time out to help me out

@juwonlo – We would love to help you with the codes. Unfortunately, that’s not possible as a lot of changes in the plugin is required. Coming to the queries, please allow me some time, so that I can share your plan for the location search with the team and help you with your queries.

Hope that will be fine with you!

    Thanks,
    Rimpa

Thanks for holding patience @juwonlo. Here are the answers to your queries:

First, How I can ensure my customers can search using multiple attributes and categories at the same time. e.g location and type of product?

Ans WooCommerce will allow you to the set up multiple attributes. Hence, your customers can search using multiple attributes and categories.

Second, how can I get this attribute search to the home page. cos it is only when my customers click shop that they see the filter by location.

Ans You have to integrate the search option on the homepage and then automatically, these attributes will be available for search.

    Regards,
    Rimpa
