Want to post Ave Star Rating outside of Review

+1 — had same question posted below with some code samples. Maybe if someone can figure out how to load the object my approach will work (I’m probably just missing something silly — WordPress/PHP is not my primary platform).

Still not easy way- short code or php code- to JUST show the star rating outside of the main plug in results???

I was having the same problem & found this fix: Add Aggregate Reviews

It creates the shortcode [reviews_aggregate_rating] which can be added to a site to show average ratings.

Works fine for me, hope it works for you too.

Better support from the community than the plug in author… and while it may seem a bit harsh to complain about something one receives for free, I still think this is a basic functionality that should be in the plug in out of the box.

I CERTAINLY expected better support from the author than just a snarky comment about open source (and ABSOLUTELY NO HELP IN SOLVING THE PROBLEM!)

Now if anyone can find a way to add the overall rating number as well as the stars that would be great!

e.g. 4.5 based on 10 ratings.

It shouldn’t be too hard, I’m just not brainy enough ??
