Error reading file/URL

I recently updated WP to 4.5.3 and added an SSL cert. All of a sudden one of my tables is displaying “Error reading file/url”. It’s strange because there is another table on the same page that displays fine. I think the difference is the one that’s in error is reading from csv. I removed the sslverify from easy-table.php, per an older post. It didn’t seem to help. Allow read from CSV is checked. Any ideas?
