• I have a subdomain on my website into which I have installed a different website. Until recently, I did not have a separate domain name for it. I added the domain name and everything was resolving correctly, but the old subdomain address was being used for pages and articles for the site.

I figured to change this, I would update the WordPress and/or Site Address for it.

After reading the distinction between the two, I decided I would update the Site Address to the new domain and leave the WordPress address. I’m now getting 500 Internatl Server errors. I am thinking about changing the WordPress address to the new domain name as well, but I did this once with another site and completely messed everything up.

Is this the correct avenue to travel or am I missing something else that could be causing the problem?
