WPSSO shows triple title on top of page

    Hello there,

    We just purchased WPSSO for wordpress. When we activate this plugin and also when a member logins from frontend he/she sees on top of the page (below the blue bar) the title of the page 3 times Like this:
    Title of pageTitle of pageTitle of page.

    Any ideas?

    Please go to oria.gr click from top menu the button (Σ?νδεση) and just click to connect with Facebook. After this just navigate throught the header menu and see what i am talking about.

    I’m happy to assist you, but the forums on www.remarpro.com are limited to supporting Free plugin versions only — you mentioned purchasing WPSSO, so I would suggest you open a ticket on the WPSSO Pro support website at https://wpsso.support.wpsso.com/support/home.     You describe a common issue that can happen with the Free version as well, so let me address it here for future readers as well. ??

    WordPress provides filters and actions for themes and plugins to modify default values and/or insert data / HTML in the webpage. Filters, like the one to modify titles, must return their modified values, unlike actions which must print / echo their values. The behavior you describe is caused by a filter which has echo’d its value instead of returning it. Somewhere — probably in your theme — there’s a badly coded title filter. It’s a common mistake with developers just starting out with WordPress (that haven’t learned the difference between filters and actions yet). ??
