Slider Revolution has no navigation at all.

I started rebuilding a website for one of my new clients and during the process the slider that is on the Home Page stopped moving and only shows the first slide. I checked all the plugins by deactivating them one by one to see if one of them was conflicting with the slider, but it still did not work. I tried to deactivate and then reactivate the slider plugin itself also, still no good. The site I am working on is currently in maintenance mode, but I can still see if the slider will work or not. I am not a wizard at JS or CSS so I really would be at a loss if the problem was there.
I did have a question I would like a short answer for. The site is using a Managed WordPress, is it safe to “flush the cache”? Does it delete files or CSS that is needed? Will that solve my problem? Any help would greatly be appreciated, thank you.
