How to display product variation on invoices

Hi,
we are selling t-shirt in different colors and sizes. Every cut and color is a variable product, the available sizes are variations.
When I create an invoice with Woo Invoice only the cut and color (product name) is displayed, the size is missing. When someone orders different sizes of the same cut and color the invoice contains similar items, the only difference (the size) is missing…
Is there a way to display product variations by default?
