Error establishing a database connection

  • I get this message

    I have a lot much of content in the website don’t want to lose any

    how can i fix this problem ?

    I have two folder

    bosnagate.com “database error”

    and

    bosnagate.com/home ” works fine”

    the two folder in the same database don’t know the problem here

    Use ftp and open up your wp-config.php
    take a look at the database settings and syntax of the file.
    Check whether it’s correct.

    “Error establishing a database connection” is generally caused by an error in your wp-config.php file.
    Log in to your FTP account. Open up wp-config.php and make sure that the following are correct:

    WordPress Database name
    WordPress Database username
    WordPress Database password
    WordPress Database host

    If you are assured your configuration is accurate you could try resetting your MySQL password manually.

    I check the file wp-config.php and update the database user with new user and now works fine
