Search multiple fields with one search field

  • Hi! I’m trying to use your plugin for something a bit more complicated than it was originally built for. I installed the entire plugin and it works beautifully, then I realized that it might not do this one very important thing. :-/!

    Essentially, I’m creating a directory of translators. So they need to be able to list up to 7 language combinations that they are certified in, and the search function must search all 7 combinations and find those that are EXACT MATCHES to what’s been searched for.

    In other words, if I search for English > Spanish, even if a translator has listed that as their 4th combination, it should come up. I should NOT find a translator who has listed Spanish > English.

    Is there any way to do this with the existing plugin? Or is your team at all available to be hired to add extensions for specific projects?

    Hi Kelley,

    This is not possible with UM at this time. Afraid we are not able to be hired for custom work as all our time is taken up supporting and developing the plugin.
