• There is definitely something wrong with the latest version.

    1. When trying to scroll down the page in edit mode, when I let go of the mouse button, it just flips straight back to the top of the page, every time until I save or publish, but as soon as I edit the page again, the cursor just flips straight back to the top of the page! Weird

And also only in this version, when I try and delete code I find that I can’t! Well I can delete it but it just pops up again, every time.

I think it may have something to do with to text/html view?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

Tedious but I’ll try it. I’ve been using the same plugins for years now.

It’s not uncommon for plugins that haven’t been updated for a while to be incompatible with the current version of WordPress.
