Error Message, unable to fix

  • Downloaded this plugin that was conflicting with another plugin, and relieved the following error message:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Mobile_Detect in /home/content/a2pnexwpnas03_data02/08/3292508/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-mobile-edition/admin/includes/Mobile_Detect.php on line 29

    Went to go into my wordpress file, in the plugin folder, but there is no file for the “WP Mobile Edition” plugin. Now my website is crashed, and no-one can access the site! Help!!

    Turn off plugins to eliminate cross-contamination.

    Use FTP of a file manager in your cPanel and go to the wp-content/plugins folder and remove the plugin.
