I’ve checked my debug log and I am getting errors in the following files.

    /wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 3769
    /wp-includes/category-template.php on line 1178

I’m not sure what is causing this and I do have the latest version of WordPress.

  • Hi fluiditystudio,

Which theme are you using? Once try using WordPress default theme twentysixteen and check it whether same problem pursuits or not. Also reinstall a fresh copy of latest version of WordPress.

    Thank you!

I’ve done both of those things and it is still throwing those errors in my debug log. The theme I am using is a custom one as I am a web developer. However, I have tried switching to a couple different themes and I keep getting those errors in the log. I have done the “Re-install Now” option two or three times as well.

Could you please deactivate all the plugins that you have installed on your dashboard and also try activating twentysixteen default theme.

Also upload the wordpress files (wp-admin and wp-includes)via ftp and remove the previous file.

    Thank you!

I did that and the other errors went away, but I got this error instead,

    /wp-includes/nav-menu.php on line 752

What was your full error? Can you clarify it? Now i am pretty sure that you are not installing wordpress file completely. download wordpress files and upload every file under your public_html. Some file might be missing.

    Thank you!

I think this file is missing. Could you recheck it
    html/wp-includes/load.php

    Thank you

No, it’s there. When I deleted the wp-admin and the wp-includes, I sent the latest files back up from the WordPress download zip file. This is baffling.

Also once you delete the folder wp-includes and wp-admin via ftp. After doing it again install fresh copy of it. That might solve your issues.

    Thank you

I junked everything and save the pertinent folders like plugins and uploads and started over. Those errors have gone away. Just the weirdest thing.

That’s great. That might be some plugins or some missing wordpress file. So i told you to remove it completely and re add it.
    Congrats.

    Thank you!
