• I have been fighting an infection on a shared server which is affecting multiple WordPress sites. Wordfence is installed on all WP installations. It detects some added files, but there are non-core files being added to the root directory that are going unnoticed. They frequently have names such as post.php and wp-checking.php and are filled with a short FilesMan code. The modified dates are always backdated.

    I have wordfence set to detect all core, plugin, theme, and even files outside the core files, but these are not getting marked. Any idea why?
