    ah sorry, I didn’t read your question close enough. The optimizer column will say that until the images have finished processing. That’s totally normal. I had thought you were having the upload stalling problem, my bad.

    It still wont optimize anymore, even Bulk Optimize shows 1 image needs optomizing.. Temporary failure, seconds left to retry: 25 how to trouble shoot? can give wp access if you like..

    it’s normally instant, I tried deactivating the plugin and reactivating it and same result Frozen on “In Progress”.. 13 mins ago

    OK, I downgraded to the only version I have Version 2.5.9.4 and it works perfectly. Where can I download other versions to check where it breaks?

    Thanks for that last bit. The debugging information show nothing abnormal that I can see, but the error logs tell us that your server is rejecting connections from itself (which is how parallel/async optimization works). If someone else manages it, check with them to see what might cause that. My suspicion is some sort of rate-limiter, since the server would get 7-10 requests in quick succession. If you can’t sort it out, just turn off Parallel Optimization under Advanced settings.

    I’ve disabled the Parallel Optimization under Advanced settings, however, it still freezes and shows permanent “In Progress”.. I have downgraded to 2.8.5 its the only one that works, anything above that shows “In Progress”. Any ideas?

    I′ve exactly the same behaviour, shows permanent “In Progress” also with Parallel disabled 8also with very small images).

    A Bulk Optimize on this images works after that.
