Thank you so much for the plug-in. I have a support case that I think would be of interest to others as well. I installed the plug-in and then attempted to add a snippet of code which must have been problematic because as soon as I activated the site crashed. I had to go in via FTP and delete the code snippets folder to get the site back up again. I assumed that when I threw away the code snippets folder I also threw away the problematic code. I then reinstalled the plug-in and when I activated it the site went down again. I deleted the plug-in folder again via FTP, reinstalled and reactivated it and the site crashed again. The snippets I create live outside of the code snippets folder? Any idea how I can get code snippets working again? Thank you!

Folks here’s an update. Setting the plugin to safe mode didn’t stop the crashing. Here’s what I needed to do, install the plugin, WITHOUT ACTIVATING IT DELETE IT, then reinstall and reactivate it. What gave me the clue was the uninstall.php file. I looked and saw there was a lot of cleanup on the way out.

So if you add a snippet and crash the site and need to delete the plugin folder to get it going, follow the steps above and you’ll be back in business.

Yep, uninstalling and reinstalling is a good way to fix plugin related issues, as it cleans up all its data when uninstalled. I’m glad you could resolve the issue ??

Yes. Thanks. Today I learned the difference between deleting a plugin and deleting it’s folder.
