    Hello, there,

Thank you for trying out our plugin, we hope you find it useful!

Now, all the checks that I make show that the plugins works OK. The resizing of the images is working and the debugging is working. For instance see here https://inasiatravel.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Ninh-Binh-1351×570.jpg?debug=true the debug output for an image request.

It seems to me that you expected some other kind of behaviour though! Our plugin does not mess with the HTML and the CSS of your web page in order to apply some kind of technique for responsive images. It works on the network level and simply -but effectively- resizes the actual images which are sent by the server to the browser!

Does this help to clarify things?

    Cheers,
    Takis

    Hi Takis,

Thank you for your kind and detailed answer and for taking your time to analyze my problem.

I apologize if my question has sounded like a doubt about the functionality of the plugin.
In the same time I am sorry to say that I didn’t really understand how the plugin actually resizes the images. And, why does not apply for my case (slider layout siteorigin).
(I am not aspecting a full explanation how to deal with siteorigin plugin… I should open a thread in the right forum… but just point me in the right direction please).

    Thank you in advance,
    Regards
    Gabri

    Hello there, Gabri,

No problem there and no need for apologies! ??

I am not sure what the “siteorigin” plugin that you mention is and how I can help you with it! Can you give me a more exact question please?

    Cheers,
    Takis

This is great news, I am glad to hear that! This is the way this plugin is designed to work: indepenedently from HTML and CSS.

    Cheers,
    Takis
