• I added some incorrect css to child theme, and updated. After deleting, replacing it, and updating, I view site, see no change, and return to find that the incorrect css has reappeared in the child theme. So I delete again, close out, clear cache, reopen wp dashboard, child theme is clean. I add css and update, but again, after viewing the site (no change there) the incorrect css is back in my child theme when I return to dash board. The new css has disappeared. I’ve been through this routine numerous times. Lots of updates, clearing cache . . . I’m flummoxed where that incorrect css is hiding and why I can’t seem to eliminate/replace it. Please help.

I now think the problem was using back button on browser, which kept taking me back to the unedited version, instead of to the edits I was previewing. At least, I seem to be okay if I avoid the back button. As with most of my issues, I now feel dumb, but happy. Thanks for your suggestion.
