Static Front Page Formatting

Same problem that Carliepage listed. I have all the settings correct as per the responses on the thread however the formatting is just one block paragraph rather than the formatted version. It looks fine in the editor it even looks fine when I go into the the appearence settings and you have your preview on the right however when you go to the live page there are no paragraph spaces or bullot points. Just one block of text
